NOIS는 생성형 AI를 하나의 창작 도구로 활용하여 현실과 비현실의 경계를 탐구한다. 자연, 사물, 풍경, 그리고 물질을 새로운 시각으로 재구성하며, 익숙한 형태 속에서 낯선 감각을 발견하는 이미지를 만들어간다. 각 작업은 단순한 이미지 생성이 아닌 하나의 시리즈와 서사를 기반으로 기획된다. 디저트가 하나의 우주가 되고, 회화의 표면 아래 숨겨진 물감의 층이 새로운 풍경이 되듯, 현실에서는 존재할 수 없는 장면을 시각적으로 구현한다. NOIS는 기술 자체보다 상상력과 개념을 중요하게 생각한다. 생성형 AI는 표현을 위한 하나의 매체일 뿐이며, 작업의 중심에는 언제나 아이디어와 시각적 경험이 있다. Artist Statement (EN) Images are not only a means of recording reality, but also a medium for imagining worlds that do not exist. NOIS explores the boundary between reality and imagination through generative AI as a creative medium. Nature, objects, landscapes, and materials are reinterpreted into unfamiliar visual experiences, revealing new perspectives within familiar forms. Rather than producing isolated images, each project is conceived as a cohesive series built around a central concept and narrative. Desserts become miniature universes, and the hidden layers beneath an oil painting transform into entirely new landscapes—bringing impossible scenes into visual existence. For NOIS, technology is never the destination but the medium. The core of every work lies in concept, imagination, and the creation of meaningful visual experiences.
